The nozzles actively direct the cleaning media in a horizontal spiral motion, creating a single or crossing helical pattern that ensures thorough tank cleaning, even in areas below horizontal stringers, longitudinal sections, corrugated bulkheads, and so on. This patented design effectively complies with IMO-Marpol requirements.
Additionally, our system is fully prepared for integration with WashTrac™, our tank cleaning monitoring system.
Here’s how it works: The cleaning media enters the inlet housing from the supply line on board the vessel and passes through the vertical turbine, which actively powers the driving unit. The media then continues through the main pipe to the nozzles and into the tank. The driving unit actively rotates the main pipe and lifts the nozzle(s), ensuring comprehensive tank cleaning in a spherical pattern.
We actively regulate the rotation speed by the turbine’s speed and can easily set it to the desired rate. The rotation of the main pipe and the elevation of the nozzle(s) are actively indicated on the scale on the lifting rod. The pitch (elevation per revolution) for the nozzle(s) can actively be adjusted to different pre-programmed values by lifting and turning the program knob.
