SC SCANCUT 235H
Application
The cutting tool is specifically designed to cut precise 160 mm diameter holes, exclusively tailored for the installation of Scanjet tank cleaning machines, such as the SC 60A and SC 60H models. Moreover, this tool is used in cases where cleaning cannot be performed through existing tank openings, particularly those from support legs.
The SCANCUT safely cuts new hole and is ATEX certified for Zone 0. Designed for:
- Oil storage tanks, fixed or floating roofs
- Other tanks requiring a new tank opening
Working Principle
The SC SCANCUT-235-H operates hydraulically, with a drive unit mounted on a cutter body for robust cutting performance. Furthermore, the hydraulic motor powers the cutting process, rotating the cutting bits. The handle manually controls cutting depth and speed, with a tachometer indicating progress. Additionally, it has two interchangeable standard cutting bits for effective cutting and a magnet that securely holds the cut-out steel plate, preventing it from falling into the tank.
