Introduction
The Scanjet BFV-COM is a 100 % tight blind flange valve, closed operated manual, operated by turning a handle to fully close or open the valve. Installed in the piping between two tanks the valve can either allow full flow between the tanks or full separation between the tanks.

The plug for draining can be removed to install a pressure sensor used for indication of leakage. It is possible to install the pressure sensor on one of the two sides of the blind flange valve.

The gasket in the lid and discs is made of PTFE, the advantages of PTFE as sealing material is high chemical resistance, excellent temperature performance (both high and low), low friction, and good mechanical properties like flexibility and compressibility.
