Scanjet is a global leader in tank cleaning, cargo venting, and tank management systems. Scanjet is founded and based in Sweden, but we also operate wherever you are and wherever you need assistance.
Our company was founded in the small Swedish community of Sjöbo in 1961. Initially, the company was a family-owned mechanical workshop working with cars – a situation that would soon change.
When authorities started to demand tank cleaning for ships, Scanjet saw an opportunity to use the skillsets and facilities for something else, and this was when we began to manufacture solutions for tank cleaning.
Since then, Scanjet has held a strong position on the international tank cleaning scene, with a significant share of the global market today. Scanjet is particularly known for its global presence, allowing us to provide shipping companies service where and when they need it.
We are proud of our Scandinavian heritage. Our factory in Sjöbo, Sweden, has been crucial for our company for over 60 years. This was where it all started, and it’s still in the core of our DNA.
Scanjet’s Scandinavian design and production ensure the highest quality of our solutions and enable us to be flexible and quick in delivering customized solutions – regardless of circumstances and current situations in the world.

Today, Scanjet has its headquarters in Gothenburg, Sweden. We’re located only minutes from the Port of Gothenburg, one of Europe’s biggest and most innovative ports, and we can almost hear the gantry cranes when we open our windows.
