The Scanjet SC 15TWGL is a robust tank cleaning machine, specifically designed for efficiently cleaning cargo tanks in challenging environments. This unit can handle tanks with volumes of up to 5000 m³ on its own. Commonly found onboard offshore supply vessels, drilling rigs, barges, chemical carriers, product carriers, and in various industrial processes, it’s utilized where solid particles are present or likely to be encountered during the tank cleaning process.

Our design criteria are based on the size, construction, and cleaning requirements of these tanks, which will be thoroughly evaluated prior to installation and operation.

The SC 15TWGL offers versatile usage options, serving as either a fixed installed machine on a down pipe or a portable system mounted on a hose with a supporting hose saddle, making it adaptable for use in various tanks and vessels.

Regarding its working principle, the cleaning media flows through the machine to the nozzles and disperses into the tank, effectively cleaning all surfaces with powerful high-impact jets. As the flow passes through the turbine, it initiates the rotary motion of the gearbox, resulting in a criss-cross pattern covering 360° of the tank walls.

During the first cycle, a wide “Pre Wash” pattern is created on the tank walls, followed by subsequent cycles that progressively densify the pattern until a full program is achieved after four cycles. Additionally, the gearbox is oil-lubricated and sealed off from the cleaning media, ensuring efficient and reliable operation.
